The Barrie Garden Club has rented a plot at the Shear Park Community Garden, which is one of six located in Barrie. The garden was built in 2019 by Urban Pantry Barrie.
Urban Pantry Barrie is a community food program of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), which shows how nutrition and fresh foods impact our mental health.
